Two plant managers and a “company doctor” were arrested during a factory investigation in Salinas, California, following a complaint that alleged that workers were being discouraged from filing workers' compensation claims for injuries sustained at the plant. Chiropractor Robert Ray Schreiner was also charged in the same incident with 16 felony counts, including conspiring to deny injured workers their workers' compensation benefits, filing fraudulent insurance claims, and making false statements to an insurer.
